In this activity you can see how the <strong>inclination of Saturn&#8217;s rings<\/strong> (as seen from Earth) changes <strong>as the planet moves in its orbit around the Sun<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Download the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/outreach.iac.es\/peter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Unit-4-Gas-Giants_Activ2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">GUIDE<\/a> of the activity.<\/li><li>Download the images of\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/outreach.iac.es\/peter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/U4_imagenes_Saturno.zip\" target=\"_blank\">SATURN<\/a> you are going to work with.<\/li><li>Download the SPREADSHEET to write down your measures.<\/li><li>If you haven&#8217;t already done so, download the software (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/outreach.iac.es\/peter\/software\/\" target=\"_blank\">PeterSoft<\/a>) to view and analyse the images.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember you can also obtain your own images of the planets in&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.schoolsobservatory.org\/obs\/go\">&#8220;Go Observing&#8221;<\/a> and make new measurements and investigations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This activity is part of teaching unit 4, Gas Giants.
