The purpose of these Units is to introduce different concepts about Astronomy and Astrophysics (adaptable to various levels) while facilitating their understanding, to learn how to use a software for visualization and analysis of astronomical images, <strong>PeterSoft<\/strong>, and to allow students to experience the scientific method.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each Unit consists of an <strong>Introduction<\/strong>, one or more <strong>Activities<\/strong> (each with its own Guide) and a set of <strong>images<\/strong> obtained with the Liverpool Telescope with which the proposed activities will be carried out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/outreach.iac.es\/peter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/lupa-300x240.png\" alt=\"Magnifying glass\" class=\"wp-image-539\" width=\"225\" height=\"180\" srcset=\"https:\/\/outreach.iac.es\/peter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/lupa-300x240.png 300w, https:\/\/outreach.iac.es\/peter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/lupa.png 477w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The first five Units are arranged in order from least to most difficult, introducing new utilities of the PeterSoft program at each step.
